'Fortnite' Brings Naruto and His Ninja Friends in Latest Update | Cosmetics, Mythic Kunai, and More About this Crossover

Epic Games “Fortnite” is famous for its multiple collaborations with different themes over the years. The latest crossover was the most awaited Naruto content which will bring new sets of cosmetics and other updates for the players.

According to a report by The Verge on Tuesday, Nov.16, many fans have speculated about the upcoming arrival of Naruto as playable characters in “Fortnite.” This week, Epic granted their wish following the recent update about this anime collaboration.

The shinobi from the Uzumaki clan is now in the popular battle royale game. He is not alone at the welcome party since his friends, such as Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, and Kakashi Hatake, are also a part of the 18.40 update.

Originally, the patch would start at 9:00 A.M. UTC on Nov. 16. Epic said it would last for 30 minutes. Make sure you have enough space for your device before you download the update.

Amid the hype and rumors, Epic managed to give what players wanted to come into the game. For the 18.40 patch, PC Gamer reported that Naruto fans should see the ninja boy’s Shippuden skin. Besides that, here’s a list of the cosmetics that you need to see in the most recent collaboration.

Kunai Leak, Convergence Stages, and Proximity Launcher

In an article from Dexerto, the mythic ninja weapon Kunai will reportedly be the boss item of the Naruto patch. “Fortnite” players should prepare anytime in obtaining this strong tool of the ninja.

If the leak is true about it, anticipate the surge of fans who will use it on the battlefield. Here are the leaked stats for Kunai:

  • Maximum range: 300 meters
  • Hold Duration: 0.15 seconds
  • Delay Between Shots: 1.5 seconds
  • Recharge Cooldown: 4 seconds

Besides that, the “Fortnite” x Naruto update will also include Convergence Stages 4 and 5. So far, that’s the only information that we know about the latest update. Furthermore, the “Fortnite” 18.40 update will bring Proximity Launcher and the Flint-Knock Pistol for the upcoming Funding event in the game.

The 18.40 update is in 4 days and it’ll most likely start the Flintlock & Proximity Launcher voting round.
